Chains For Wishes, Choose Your Own Partner Doubles Tournament August 6th, 2011

In it's 5th year, the Chains for Wishes Disc Golf Tournament to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation is set for August 6, 2011.  Applebees and the WNC Disc Golf Club are as proud as ever to be "Bangin' the Chains for Wishes" once again.  Tournament Director's James Mayfield (Applebees - Smokey Park Hwy) and Chad Smith (WNC Disc Golf Club) are building yet another AMAZING tournament and are poised to add to the $25,000 CHAINS FOR WISHES has raised helping the Apple-J Franchise crest over the $1,000,000 mark for monies raised for Make A Wish.  THAT'S A TON OF WISHES GRANTED!  Applebees sells Wish Cards every year for $5.  Those cards save the purchasers over $20 in savings, with 4 different coupons included on each card.  Sales of these cards have been incredible!  Each store in the franchise holds events for the Make A Wish Foundation each year as well.  These events bring in more money for the cause and Chains for Wishes is proud to be celebrating it's fifth year supporting "The Power of the Wish!"  We can't do it without the help of all the volunteers, players, and sponsors that reach deep every year donating time and money to help us grant these wishes.  It's all about the kids!  With every wish we grant, we make a child's day, week, month, year......and most importantly...LIFE!  It's a simple wish with a powerful meaning!  We hope to see you on the course this year.  Like our Chains for Wishes Facebook page, as it helps us spread the word quickly about the tournament, and most importantly, THE CAUSE!
