Hill Disc Golf Course
Richmond Hill
Disc Golf Course, Asheville, NC is a heavily wooded course with elevation
changes in abundance. A full 18 holes are available for play. Installed
in 2001, this course was designed with the serious player in mind.
The primary tee box placement is set for the advanced/professional
player, although many holes contain alternate/amateur tee box placements.
Richmond
Hill Disc Golf Course, with its lengthy 6,093 feet, is arguably
the most challenging and exciting woods course in the country.
Directions:
From I-240 take exit 4A onto Highway 19/23 N. Go 1.5 miles. Take
Highway 251/UNC-Asheville exit, turn left at the end of ramp. Turn
left at the next stoplight onto Riverside Drive. Go 0.5 mile, turn
right onto Pearson Bridge Road. Go 0.3 mile and take first right
onto Richmond Hill Drive. Go past Richmond Hill Inn. At the top
of the hill take a right. At bottom of hill take a gravel road into
park.
***Only difference from old course is not taking a left on Richmond
Hill Lane. Once you pass the Richmond Hill Inn, take a right at
the top of the hill and keep going straight.***

Mars
Hill College Disc Golf Course

course in and around the Mars Hill College Campus. Check kiosk for
details.
Directions:
From Asheville, North Carolina
From
I-240, take exit 4A onto US-19/US-23 North.
Drive approximately 17 miles on US-19/US-23 North.
From US-19/US-23, take exit 11 onto NC-213 West.
Drive approximately 1 mile on NC-213 West to downtown Mars Hill
and the college.
Drive straight through campus past the Chapel.
Take next left and park below the eighteenth basket.
Black Mountain Disc Golf Course
Black Mountain
Recreation Park Disc Golf Course, Black Mountain, NC is a 9-hole
course that caters to the recreational player. This course contains
a mix of wooded and open shots. A river comes into play for many
holes. Black Mountain technically challenges even the advanced player
with tight skill shots.
Directions:
I-40 to Exit 64; go South on Hwy. 9, about 0.75 mile bear right
on Blue Ridge Road. Go about 1.5 miles, turn right on Rec. Park
Drive and follow to course.

Crookston
Disc Golf Course
Crookston Disc
Golf Course, Fletcher, NC is a professional caliber 9-hole course
installed in 2001. The course is located at the Fletcher Community
Park and contains many open shots as it meanders around a pond.
There are professional as well as amateur tee boxes at every hole.
Out-of-bounds comes into play throughout the course.
Directions:
From Asheville take I-26 S. to Exit 13 (Fletcher/Mountain Home/Hwy
25), turn left. Go 2.5 miles, take a right on Howard Gap Rd., 0.25
mile, left into Fletcher Community Park.

Western
Carolina University Disc Golf Course
9 holes
- Disc Catcher
Directions: From Asheville take I-40 West. Merge on 74 West. Take
Cullowhee / Sylva Exit. Follow to Western Carolina University. Course
starts at Commuter parking lot.
Vance
Street Disc Golf Course (Waynesville)
18
holes with 2 pin locations for each hole and a mixed bag of tee
surfaces including grass, asphalt and concrete. The long pin total
distance is 6692 and the short pin is 5010. The course is an open
course with a few choice tree shots to give all who play it a good
challenge!! Lots of O.B. to make it interesting including streams
and creeks for plastic swimming!! The course offers some great views
of the Southern Appalachians!!
Directions:
From Asheville take I-40 West to Exit 27. Follow 23/74 West to Exit
102. Take Exit 102 and merge onto Russ Ave.(276). Go under over-pass
to 2nd light and take a left on Howell Mill Rd.(Eckerds on Corner).
Go approx. 0.5 miles and take a right on Vance Street. Go past first
entrance to Rec center...past softball field to lower parking lot
on left. First tee is near kiosk at the end of parking lot.
