Black Mountain DGC
The Black Mountain Recreation Park Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole course that caters to the
recreational player… although advanced players will have a blast tearing this course up. The
course contains a mix of lightly wooded and open shots ranging from 150-320’. The mighty
Swannanoa River comes into play on several holes, including the courses signature Hole # 2.
Note: the Back-9 is on the other side of the freeway… After Hole 9, walk under the I-40 to find
Holes 10-18 on the other side.
Directions:
I-40 to Exit 64; go South on Hwy. 9, about 0.75 mile bear Right on Blue Ridge Road. Go about
1.5 miles, and turn right on Rec. Park Drive (just after the freeway overpass) and follow to
course parking lot.
